Innovation - A Shepherd's Toolkit

The 2009 Symposium was an informative and valuable weekend for sheep enthusiasts from across Alberta.

The Alberta Sheep Symposium has a long history of providing useful and practical ideas and information to producers and other stakeholders. It is held every second year and is organized by the Alberta Sheep Breeders' Association and the Alberta Lamb Producers with assistance from Alberta Agriculture & Rural Development.

With the help of our generous sponsors, we were able to offer a strong program at reasonable rates. Many of our speakers travelled a great distance to share their expertise with us.

The Symposium included many great presentations, a Trade Show, a Banquet and plenty of opportunities for networking.
